The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.

  • Kenneth Switzer, 37, of Vanceburg, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), arrested and booked June 5.
  • Jimmy Littleton, 37, of Grahn, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a hold for another agency, arrested and booked June 5.
  • Derek Lowe, 30, of St. Catharine, arrested by Rowan County Detention Center, on charges of second degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking or disposition automobile valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, and failure to appear, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Haven Arthurs, 25, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County District Court, on a hold for court, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Kayla Cundiff, 35, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County District Court, on a hold for court, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Charles Preston, 43, of Olive Hill, arrested by Rowan County Detention Center, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested June 3 and booked June 6.
  • Bryan Sparks, 37, of Olive Hill, arrested by Rowan County Detention Center, on a hold for another agency, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Andrew Porter, 38, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree unlawful imprisonment, and fourth degree assault (domestic violence) with minor injury, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Anthony Benson, 31, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of speeding 21 MPH over limit, no registration receipt, no registration plates, driving on a DUI suspended license (third offense), no motorcycle operator’s license, possession of marijuana, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Anthony Jordan, 45, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, serving a warrant for a parole violation, arrested and booked June 6.
  • Jessica Young, 38, of Denton, arrested by Boyd County Jail, on charges of first degree wanton endangerment, and theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting items valued at more than $500 but less than $1,000, arrested and booked June 7.
  • Michael Hedge, 51, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on charges of second degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), driving on DUI suspended license – second offense, no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, possession of marijuana, and failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, arrested and booked June 7.
  • Tony Chancy, 60, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County District Court, charges unavailable, arrested and booked June 7.
  • Madison Campbell, 22, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Circuit Court, on a hold for drug court, arrested and booked June 7.
  • Cimber Arthurs, 32, of Morehead, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on two counts of failure to appear, and three counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked June 7.
  • Scotty Skaggs, 55, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, serving a warrant for parole violation, arrested and booked June 8.
  • Justin Meadows, 41, of Garrison, arrested by Greenup County Sheriff, on charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition of items valued at more than $10,000 but less than $1,000,000, first degree criminal mischief, and third degree criminal trespassing, arrested and booked June 9.
  • Tina Hensley, 51, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked June 9.
  • John Paholsky, 26, of Ironton, Ohio, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, charges unavailable, arrested and booked June 9.
  • Tina Johnson, 49, of Hitchins, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of third degree terroristic threatening, arrested and booked June 9.
  • Paul Osborne, 45, of Ashland, arrested by Boyd County Jail, for failure to appear, arrested and booked June 10.
  • Drew Rayburn, 29, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, charges unavailable, arrested and booked June 10.
  • Elijah Littleton, 32, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on a charge of public intoxication on a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), arrested and booked June 10.
  • Windy Reaper, 48, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two or more grams of methamphetamine), first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (10 dosage units drug unspecified), trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 oz.), and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, arrested and booked June 11.
  • George Mayle, 50, of Cleveland, Ohio, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked June 11.
