I was about to say the sandwich was a bit dry but then I saw that I read the recipe wrong and thus didn't add slaw to the bottom of the sandwich but just the top. I also added some heat by tossing a chopped Serano chili in to the slaw. I will try making this again. It was easy and flavorful.

My husband loved this. We ate it on French bread. Used Greek vanilla honey yogurt and omitted honey from recipe. He is taking to his coastal fish camp and let the men decide.

Made this tonight. My husband and I loved it. Catfish had just the right amount of spice and the cabbage mix was an instant favorite.

Outstanding! Very easy to make. Not too spicy. Nice balance of flavors.

This was really good!! I didn't have the two cups of cilantro fresh so used 1 cp fresh and 1/4 cup dried (doubled the recipe!) and it was great!! I was worried thinking it was way too much cilantro, but did well!! Will make again!! Was pretty spicy too so made some plain fish for the kids sandwiches :)

Fabulous as is. I added Tony Cachere's cajun seasoning to the blackening season given (we like things really spicy) and used my own cabbages and carrots to thin slice, otherwise followed recipe exactly. Very filling, too. Served with the lemony orzo salad from the CL site.

I thought this recipe was just ok the first time, but the second time I made a few changes and it turned out great! I added onion and garlic powder to the spice mix and that made a huge difference in taste. Also, instead of greek yogurt, I used low fat mayo and instead of honey I used sugar. I personally do not prefer the flavor of honey, and I thought it was very pronouced in this dish. I realize this also makes the slaw a bit more high in fat, but the greek yogurt version just didn't sit right with me. I will definitely make it again though with those alterations. It was aweome and everyone loved it!!

First time it was not so great - too sour and no zing -, but since I still had all the ingredients, I made it again. This time I cut back on the lime (used only 1T), upped the honey to 2 T and added a chopped jalapeno. It just all came together and it was DELICIOUS!

WILL NEVER MAKE AGAIN. The amount they call for is just too much! Too musch seasoning, the slaw, everything! Lets just say this one did not sit well in the stomach later. Very disappointed...

Excellent meal with the stewed okra on the side. Relatively quick and easy to make, even the coleslaw was good and complimented the catfish. I used frozen okra and corn which simplified the process, just used 3/4 cup broth instead.

I followed this recipe exactly as written but did not find the dish very enjoyable. The fish was ok but the slaw was very bland.

I loved this dish. While I was making it, I tasted the fish and the coleslaw alone and was really nervous...because alone, they are gross...but together with the sourdough, it was delicious, and I'm not a fish person! You have to use sourdough, it makes the dish! Will be making again :)

Yummy! Only changes I made was adding 1/2 tsp. onion powder to the paprika mixture and instead of yogurt in the slaw, I used lowfat olive oil mayo and added a pinch of salt. Served with fried okra (Coastal Living); I know, not lowfat, but oh so good!

I used this recipe as an inspiration. I don't care for catfish...so I used blackened flounder and a classic (low cal) slaw and sour dough bread...YUM!

Excellent! I don't care for catfish so I substituted Alaskan rockfish...yummy! I also used honey whole wheat bread in place of sourdough, the sweetness really balanced flavor of the cilantro. I will definitely be making this again, it's my new go to recipe for rockfish!!

This is a surprisingly good recipe! I used a lot less cilantro, and next time I would cut back a bit on the lime juice. But I will make it again. Make sure not to compromise on the sourdough - it made the sandwich.

Great summer dish! Very light, and full of flavor. It was easy to put together, although I would use a tiny bit more oil to cook the fish to avoid sticking on the pan. My husband was surprised at how much he liked the recipe.

I prepared this without the sourdough bread. Instead of catfish, I used tilapia. The fish was tasty and not overly spicy. I didnt care for the slaw, however. The cilantro was overpowering and otherwise just very bland.
